While financial contributions are critical, they are not enough. To ensure that medicine’s voice is heard throughout the halls of government, members must get involved. By participating in the “Doctor of the Day” program, the 148 Club and other MDPAC-sponsored events, participants are making sure that the voices of physicians and patients are heard. This involvement also increases their awareness of the ever-changing political landscape.
